I have things to do!
The kids are leaving home soon and it seems like as good a time as any to get my life in order, right? I have a few projects I want to concentrate on and if feeling beholden to "the internet" helps me get stuff done, it's all good. So, here are the big areas:
Health. Uggh, this is the least fun project! But I do want to get better at cooking healthy meals and exercising. I'm not sure I'll track everything here, but I probably should.
House. It's a great time to clean and organize. I'm hoping to do a few fun DIY projects as well.
Writing. I'm currently working on the FINAL draft of my novel, Coldblooded. I may write to a few publishers, but I think I'm going to self-publish when all is said and done. I'm also working on a newer novel, The Neighborhood, but that one's on the back burner for now.
Dogs. Our new puppy, Loki, is just about twelve weeks old now. He's going to be a big boy, so having him well-trained is a must. I'll be tracking that progress here, and hopefully posting videos.
Genealogy. I just made a big break-through, so this is an exciting area for me. My next two specific projects are to make a family history book for Barbara and concentrate on Danish and Norwegian research for a possible upcoming trip to Scandinavia.
